Direct prerequisite for the meta-dashboard layer.

  • Add python3 to IMAGE_INSTALL in local.conf
  • Write a minimal systemd service recipe from scratch
  • Service starts on boot, writes timestamp to a log file
  • bitbake, flash, verify service runs on DK2
  • This recipe pattern is the template for meta-dashboard
