Server: home server

Three services, existing dashboards and data to preserve.

  • Export all Grafana dashboards as JSON before migration
  • Compose: grafana + prometheus + influxdb on a shared monitoring network
  • Mount existing InfluxDB data dir into volume
  • Reimport Grafana dashboards and reconfigure datasources
  • Note: collectd, telegraf, and node_exporter stay as host systemd services (they need host access for metrics)
  • Verify all metrics flowing correctly end-to-end
