Turn an embedded device into a WiFi access point.

  • Write minimal hostapd.conf (SSID, channel, WPA2-PSK)
  • Start hostapd, verify AP visible from a client device
  • Bridge or NAT to provide upstream connectivity (iptables + dnsmasq)
  • Test client connects and gets internet
  • Understand regulatory domain and channel selection
