LinuxAlt, a conference with a long tradition, had been dedicated to open software and technologies since 2006. With more than 500 visitors, LinuxAlt soon became the largest event of its kind in the Czech Republic. The Openmobility conference was founded in 2010 and brought topics of open mobile platforms and open hardware to Czech and Slovak audiences through traditional lectures and practical workshops.
